Set Your Goals for Spring with These 25 Quick Wins!
There are a few natural re-start points in the year. Times when we feel that we need to re-assess, let ourselves off the hook for forgotten goals and neglected resolutions and instead put some positive focus on to the things we want to achieve in the coming months.
The beginning of Spring is one of those times.
The dark nights are finally behind us, the weather is beginning to brighten, and all around new life is springing up everywhere! Naturally then, this is a perfect time to breath some new life into our goals or to set some new goals that will enthuse and motivate us to get moving again!
Find Some Quick Wins
Of course, it would be easy to get bogged down with the process, rather than quickly get into action. But I must admit, that sometimes I prefer the latter. Languishing in the planning process can be a recipe for procrastination and perfectionism, whereas, looking for some quick wins can get the motivation revved up, leading to bigger plans.
So, in the interests of achieving a few quick wins, getting motivated and achieving something meaningful by the end of the month, I’ve put together a ‘pick and choose list’ of activities you can pull from.
Each activity has been separated into life areas (similar to the Wheel of Life process), so that you can have a clear idea of where in your life you will make an impact, or alternatively, you can consider where you’d like to see change or make progress and pick a suggested task/goal.
Look for Double-Whammies!
I’ve also included some tasks that have the added benefit of positively affecting more than one life area. For example, reading 4 books could help you learn a new skill and look after yourself (relax). You’ll see (DW) after each of these entries!
So if you want to double or even triple your effectiveness and results, plump for one or more of the tasks marked with a “(DW)”!
Here’s Your Pick!

Just Get Into Action!
Working on your goals doesn’t have to be onerous. Sometimes it’s better just to get into action on one or more fairly straight forward task that’s been bothering the hell out of you for days, weeks or even months! The momentum that’s created by moving forward on ‘the thing you know you’ve been resisting’ can be huge, which can then lead on to bigger and better things!
