My Personal Goals Progress Update for July & August 2019
As you know, I set, go public on and report my personal goals progress annually. This is an exercise I have been doing since 2015 and as a result I have seen a significant improvement in my achievements and in the areas of my life where I choose to focus. You can click these links to read My 2018 Goals and my monthly progress updates for 2018 if you want to know how things went last year 🙂 (it wasn’t plain sailing!).
As in previous years, I’ve used the Wheel of Life template to get a visual representation of where I am now. This helps me prioritise the areas that need most attention or that I’m most drawn to, as trying to work on things that don’t interest me or serve no real purpose will see my motivation dwindle to nothing very quickly!
For those of you who are familiar with my 2018 goals, then you will see some common ground here. Some goals, although progressed, weren’t completed last year, so I’ve picked them up again for further action in 2019.
I’ve also considered which goals are public and which ones will remain private, so even though you see a list of goals here, I also have a number of other goals that (for now, at least) will remain private.
So here we go… 🙂
The Summary Table
Here’s a summary of progress so far:
Fun and Travel
Over the summer months we took our planned family holiday to Spain.
We had booked a large villa with its own pool near Tossa de Mar. The location was beautiful with views down the valley towards the Mediterranean Sea, and our villa was amazing!
While we were there we visited Girona, Barcelona and of course Tossa De Mar (a couple of times) as well as enjoying relaxing pool days and eating at lots of lovely restaurants! It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday!
We’ll shortly be making our final planned trip to Stratford Upon Avon, which will complete our travels for 2019..unless we get tempted by something else before the end of the year!
Here are our travel plans for 2019:
~> Venice – Complete!
~> Knaresborough, Yorkshire – Complete!
~> Rome – Complete!
~> London & Show – Complete!
~> Family holiday to Spain – Complete!
~> Stratford Upon Avon – Booked
Health and Fitness
To Weight 9 1/2 stone (133lbs)
Ah…hmm…well!
Maybe it was the holiday or maybe I’ve not been focused, but the best I’ve achieved over the summer months is to stay consistent. In other words, no loss, but thankfully, no gain either.
I’ll take that for now, but the journey continues!
To Join and Regularly Attend A Yoga Class

Next is to get some new garden furniture set up and then it’s on to more digging as we prepare the lawn for new turf! As you can see in the third picture, there’s lots more work ahead!!
